YB Ventures appoints Datuk Sri Tajudin Md Isa as chairman

KUALA LUMPUR: YB Ventures Bhd (YVB) has appointed Datuk Sri Tajudin Md Isa as the new non-executive chairman.

Tajudin retired as the director of the logistics and technology department. Before that, he was the director of the crime prevention and community safety department for the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and served in the PDRM for 33 years until his retirement on 24 December 2019.

YVB executive director Datuk Au Yee Boon said the company look forward to Tajudin's guidance and leadership in driving YB Ventures towards new strides.

"He will bring with him his vast experience as a leader with high standards of discipline and corporate governance," Au said in a statement.

Tajudin has a holistic and extensive experience in PDRM and has held various positions during his 33 years of service.

Aside from his roles in PDRM, Tajudin was also the chief police officer in Perlis and Kuala Lumpur.

Other stint includes his role as the deputy director of the commercial crime investigation department and the officer in charge of criminal investigation (OCCI) in Selangor.

Tajudin is also the non-executive chairman of Atta Global Group Bhd since 2020.
