KUALA LUMPUR (July 15): YB Ventures Bhd has appointed former Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Seri Tajudin Md Isa as the group’s independent non-executive chairman, effective Friday (July 15).

Tajudin, 63, is currently the independent non-executive chairman of steel products maker Atta Global Bhd.

He has extensive experience in Royal Malaysia Police for 33 years until his retirement in late December 2019, YB Ventures told Bursa Malaysia.

YB Ventures shares settled down one sen or 2.56% at 38 sen on Friday, valuing the group at RM109.28 million. The counter saw 684,500 shares exchanging hands.
