KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 5): Loss making bus operator Gets Global Bhd has changed its name to One Glove Group Bhd, effective Monday (Aug 8).

In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Friday (Aug 5), the group said the company's shares will be traded and quoted under the new stock short name of "ONEGLOVE" with effect from 9am on Monday.

In April last year, the group entered into a heads of agreement with BT Capital Sdn Bhd for a potential acquisition of an equity stake in Great Stylish Venture Sdn Bhd (GSVSB) to expand its glove business.

BT Capital and GSVSB are principally involved in investment holding.

GSVSB's 100%-owned subsidiary Stylish Technology Sdn Bhd is principally involved in property investment, oil palm planting, manufacturing and trading of gloves as well as medical and non-medical personal protective equipment.

At noon break on Friday, shares in Gets Global closed half a sen or 0.63% higher at 80 sen, giving it a market value of RM227.2 million.
