Naim Holdings bags RM73 mil construction job in Sarawak

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 11): Kuching-based property developer and builder Naim Holdings Bhd has secured a construction job in Sarawak from Amanah Khairat Yayasan Budaya Melayu Sarawak (AKYBMS) worth RM73 million.  

In a bourse filing on Tuesday (Oct 11), the group said its wholly-owned unit Naim Engineering Sdn Bhd received the letter of acceptance from AKYBMS for the award to construct Wisma Melayu at the Salak Land District.

“The contract is for a period of 30 months, commencing from Nov 8, 2022 (being the date of possession of site), at a contract sum of RM73 million,” it added.

Naim said the project is expected to contribute positively to the group’s revenue and earnings over the contract duration.

Shares in Naim closed unchanged at 45.5 sen on Tuesday, giving it a market capitalisation of RM231.29 million.
