TCS Group secures RM119.61mil construction project in Petaling Jaya

KUALA LUMPUR: Building and infrastructure construction services provider TCS Group Holdings Bhd (TGB) has secured a RM119.61 million contract for the construction and main building works for a serviced condominium project in Petaling Jaya, Selangor known as Helix2.

The contract was secured by TGB's wholly-owned subsidiary, TCS Construction Sdn Bhd (TCSB), from Eupe PJ South Development Sdn Bhd (EPSD), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eupe Corporation Bhd (ECB).

The contract comprises of one block of 34-storey serviced apartments with one block of 12-storey attached car park building.

TGB managing director Datuk Ir Tee Chai Seng said given the company's experience and long track record in building construction, TGB is confident in delivering the job within the stipulated timeframe.

"The contract will boost our outstanding order book and give us healthy earnings visibility for the coming financial years.

"As we move forward, our priority is focused on quality execution and timely delivery of our ongoing projects.

"We remain positive on the prospects of the construction industry in light of the government's initiatives in rolling out infrastructure projects.

"Overall, we see the opportunities and are bidding for projects in residential and commercial buildings, infrastructure projects, as well as institutional buildings," Tee further added.

The duration of the contract is 24 months, commencing from February 2023 with expected completion by February 2025.
