The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) reported a growth of 21.8% as compared to 2020, with the total income of RM1.09tril for ecommerce transactions in 2021 – the first to surpass the RM1tril mark for ecommerce transactions.
This is parallel with the vision propelled by the National Ecommerce Strategic Roadmap (NESR) of having an ecommerce market size of RM1.65tril by 2025.
