EcoWorld redefines concept behind industrial parks

The next launch of cluster and semi-detached factories at EBP V is expected to be in the fourth quarter this year.

HAVING made its name for crafting some of the nation’s most well-known townships, Eco World Development Group Berhad (EcoWorld) is also notable for its redefined industrial parks catering to the demand for business premises, especially after the reopening of borders, with the economy picking up and evolving due to ecommerce trends.

The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) reported a growth of 21.8% as compared to 2020, with the total income of RM1.09tril for ecommerce transactions in 2021 – the first to surpass the RM1tril mark for ecommerce transactions.

This is parallel with the vision propelled by the National Ecommerce Strategic Roadmap (NESR) of having an ecommerce market size of RM1.65tril by 2025.
