KUALA LUMPUR: I REIT Managers Sdn Bhd, the management company of Islamic REIT AME Real Estate Investment Trust (AME REIT), has proposed maiden post-listing acquisitions of three industrial properties in Iskandar Malaysia, Johor for RM69.3 million.
The move would boost AME REIT’s proforma total asset value by 12.8 per cent to about RM644.1 million, the management company said in a statement today.
AME REIT was listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd in September 2022.
I REIT Managers chief executive officer and executive director Chan Wai Leo said the acquisitions would mark a commendable start for AME REIT’s growth journey.
