Citaglobal wins RM156mil Navy housing project

PETALING JAYA: Citaglobal Bhd has secured a letter of acceptance from the Public Works Department (JKR) to develop housing facilities for Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) personnel in Sandakan, Sabah, worth RM156mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Citaglobal said the contract (Mawilla 2) comprises the design and construction of permanent military family housing units and associated facilities, including a surau, childcare centre, mechanical and electrical works, and other ancillary infrastructure, on a design-and-build basis.

“The Mawilla contract shall be completed within 40 months from the date of possession of the site.”

Citaglobal said the project was approved under the first rolling plan of the 12th Malaysia Plan.
