PETALING JAYA: The Securities Commission (SC) has appointed Datuk Manoj Kurup as executive director, enforcement, with immediate effect.
In a statement, the SC said Manoj succeeds Budiman Lutfi Mohamed, who was appointed as a judicial commissioner of the High Court of Malaya on April 1, 2026.
Manoj began his legal career back in 1990 and brings over three decades of experience across the judiciary and public prosecution. He most recently served as head of Prosecution Division at the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) before retiring in 2024.
Prior to that, he held several roles at AGC, including as head of the Appeals Division.
