KUALA LUMPUR: Cabnet Holdings Bhd's (CHB) wholly-owned subsidiary, Cabnet Systems (M) Sdn Bhd (CSM), has secured a RM38.68 million contract from Unique Arena Sdn Bhd for the supply and installation of a data centre containment system in Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, CHB said CSM accepted the purchase order from Unique Arena today.

The company said the contract works are scheduled to commence on May 29, 2026, and are expected to be completed by Nov 30, 2026.

"The contract works are expected to contribute positively to the group's earnings and net assets per share over the duration of the contract works.

"The contract works will not have any impact on the share capital and shareholding structure of the company," CHB said.

On potential risks, the company said the project is subject to the usual operational and execution risks encountered in the normal course of business, adding that it would take appropriate measures to mitigate and minimise such risks.

It also noted that none of its directors, major shareholders, or persons connected to them has any interest, whether direct or indirect, in the contract awarded, while the board was of the opinion that the acceptance of the contract works is in the ordinary course of business and in the best interests of CHB.
