KUALA LUMPUR: Alliance Bank Malaysia Bhd has partnered with 99 Speed Mart Retail Holdings Bhd to offer a zero per cent instalment payment plan through 99 Speed Mart's online bulk purchasing platform.

The initiative will be integrated into the 99 Bulksales website from June.

It allows Alliance Bank credit cardholders, including business credit cardholders, to convert eligible online purchases of RM500 and above into a three-month zero per cent instalment payment plan.

The collaboration was formalised through a memorandum of understanding signed by Alliance Bank group chief business and transaction banking officer Raymond Chui and 99 Speed Mart alternate director Albert Lee Yan Zhong.

"This timely financial solution empowers businesses with enhanced flexibility in managing cash flow, particularly in current uncertain times, reducing upfront payment burdens for bulk purchases and maintaining steady inventory turnover.

"It enables small and medium enterprises to free up working capital, streamline inventory purchases, and increase sales more effectively.

"Consumers with larger households can also take advantage of the plan by meeting the minimum spend requirement," both companies said in a joint statement.

Raymond said the collaboration allows it to reach a wider network of business owners through a practical, customer-centric and digital-first solution, while supporting the adoption of cashless and digital payment systems in Malaysia.

"We are confident that with this program, consumers and businesses can both benefit from lower prices, larger purchases and soften impacts to their cash flow," Albert said.
