KUALA LUMPUR (June 3): Alliance Bank Malaysia Bhd (KL:ABMB) and 99 Speed Mart Retail Holdings Bhd (KL:99SMART) are working together to introduce a new 0% instalment payment plan via 99 Bulksales, 99 Speed Mart’s online bulk purchasing platform for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia.

Available exclusively for Alliance Bank credit cardholders, including business card users, one can convert eligible online purchases of RM500 and above on 99Bulksales.my into a three-month 0% instalment plan.

The financing plan is aimed at SMEs, retailers, and traders with large inventory to improve their cash flow, support stock purchases, and help business expansion, the companies said in a joint statement.

Consumers with larger households can also take advantage of the plan by meeting the minimum spend requirement.

The instalment payment option will be fully integrated into the 99 Bulksales website from June. Eligible cardholders only need to select Alliance Bank's 0% three-month instalment plan during the checkout process, with no paperwork or other applications necessary.

The partnership was formalised through a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed by Alliance Bank group chief business and transaction banking officer Raymond Chui and and 99 Speed Mart alternate director Albert Lee Yan Zhong.

For SMEs, the Alliance Bank Business Credit Cards serve as a dedicated expense management tool for clearer business tracking, providing rewards and benefits on business-related transactions.

The updated Mastercard Platinum Business Credit Card provides up to 1.25% cashback on all spending, including utilities such as electricity, water, and telecom bills.

The annual fee can be waived if customers hold a business account or loan, or spend at least RM12,000 a year. Cardholders also get up to 90% discounts on selected business services through Mastercard Easy Savings Specials.
