KUALA LUMPUR: Turiya Bhd has proposed to dispose of its entire 2.08% stake in Academic Medical Centre Sdn Bhd (AMC) to Chase Perdana Sdn Bhd for RM12.5mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Turiya said the proposed disposal was in line with its strategic direction to streamline its operation.

“The exercise aims to focus on our businesses and ventures, which are viable and profitable in the mid to long term,” it said.

It said the proposed disposal would not have any material impact on its issued and paid-up share capital, earnings, net assets, gearing and substantial shareholdings for the financial year ending March 31, 2018. — Bernama
