Melewar-WB short selling suspended after hits trade limit
KUALA LUMPUR: The short-selling activities for Melewar warrants (WB) were suspended early Friday after the volume reach 3% of the number of issued shares.
At 10am, Melewar-WB was up nine sen to 9.5 sen. There were 24.49 million units transacted.
Bursa Malaysia Securities announced at 9.35am the proprietary day trading (PDT) for the warrants was suspended for the rest of the day.
The short selling would resume next Monday, Aug 27 at 8.30am.
