DESPITE not having any kind of launch, SP Setia Bhd ’s Setia Fontaines, the eco-themed, mixed development township in Penang has garnered a lot of interest and is attracting enquiries from potential customers in droves.

SP Setia general manager (property north) Ricky Yeo (pic) says the developer is expected to officially launch the first phase of the RM13.05bil gross development (GDV) township in Bertam in the fourth quarter of this year.

“We have been receiving very good response. In the first phase, we will be launching 111 shopoffices in the City Centre Business Hub, residential Precinct 1 and Precinct 6,” Yeo tells StarBizWeek in an interview. Yeo explains that the shopoffices to be offered at the City Centre Business Hub are two- and three-storey units with lot sizes ranging from 22ft by 70ft to 33.5ft by 70ft.
