KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 14): Chemical Co of Malaysia Bhd (CCM) has appointed Amizar Mizuar as non-independent and non-executive vice-president of the group effective immediately.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, CCM said Amizar, 48, started her career with Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) in 1995 and is presently its vice-president of public equity department.

"In her career of over 20 years at PNB, she has served in various capacities and has been involved in various aspects of investment management and corporate finance including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and investment analysis," it added.

Amizar also holds directorship in HeiTech Padu Bhd.

At 3.07pm, CCM shares were down 2 sen or 1.04% at RM1.90 today, with 84,300 shares done, bringing a market capitalisation of RM320.06 million.
