New MMAG chairman now the largest shareholder in Panpages

KUALA LUMPUR(Nov 26): Newly appointed chairman of integrated supply chain and e-fulfilment company MMAG Holdings Bhd Datuk Khan Mohd Akram Khan is now the largest shareholder of information technology firm Panpages Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Panpages said Khan, who took on the role of MMAG chairman on Nov 7, became a substantial shareholder in Panpages on Nov 8 by virtue of his interest in MMAG. He now holds 70 million Panpages shares or a 26.37% stake via his interest in MMAG.

On the same date, Lim Siew Ping and Lim Siew Eng both ceased to be substantial shareholders in MMAG, and therefore relinquished their shareholdings in Panpages.

According to MMAG's filing, Khan, 48 is a strategist and serial entrepreneur in the field of Big Data analytics, automotive, logistics and trading, and other related products.

At 3.21pm today, Panpages shares slid half a sen to 23 sen, for a market capitalisation of RM62.39 million.
