Bursa adds 4 new constituents to FTSE4Good Index, removes 3

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 14): Bursa Malaysia Bhd has announced four new additions to the constituents of the FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia (F4GBM) Index, and removed three constituents, bringing the total number of constituents to 56.

In a statement today, Bursa Malaysia said the four new additions are Genting Plantations Bhd, IOI Corp Bhd, IOI Properties Group Bhd and PPB Group Bhd.

Meanwhile, the three exclusions are KLCC Prop & REIT — Stapled Securities, Sasbadi Holdings Bhd and SEG International Bhd.

The bourse said all changes in the constituents will take effect at the start of business on Monday, Dec 24.

Launched in December 2014, the F4GBM Index measures the performance of public listed companies demonstrating strong environmental, social and governance practices.

F4GBM Index constituents are drawn from the companies on the FTSE Bursa Malaysia EMAS Index, comprising listed firms from across the small, medium and large market capitalisation segments.

The index is reviewed in June and December against international benchmarks developed in collaboration with FTSE Russell.
