KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 28): Loss-making FSBM Holdings Bhd has for the fourth time announced that it is unable to issue its annual report for the financial year ended June 30, 2018 (FY18) by Dec 31 for submission to Bursa Securities and shareholders.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the information technology service and systems provider said it is still striving to resolve the outstanding issues relating to the recoverability of certain trade and other receivables.

It added that it requires more time to complete the outstanding financial statements and will endeavour to issue and submit its Annual Report 2018 by March 29 next year.

"Management is actively undertaking measures to resolve the above outstanding issues and discussing with the external auditors in order to complete the Annual Report 2018 by the expected date of issuance," said FSBM.  

Under the Main Market listing requirements, if FSBM fails to issue its Annual Report 2018 within five market days after the expiry of the timeframe, that is, Oct 31, Bursa will suspend trading in its securities .

As such, trading in FSBM’s securities has been suspended since Nov 9.

On Oct 31, the group first alerted a delay in the issuance of its Annual Report 2018 citing to resolve some outstanding issues as the reason.
