A Dec 14 filing shows that Supptech Holdings Sdn Bhd divested 10 million shares, or a 4.3% direct stake, in ACME on Dec 11.

Penang-based Supptech — co-owned by group executive chairman Datuk Seri Dr Lee Kuang Shing, former executive director Datin Seri Tan Siew Hong and their daughter Khaw Hooi Huang — remains a substantial shareholder of ACME with a 6.8% stake.

The buyer is likely to be Nada Wangi Sdn Bhd, which mopped up 10 million shares on the same day, raising its direct stake in ACME to 31.7%. Nada Wangi is jointly owned by group executive director Ooi Soon Hong and Husalmi Suhaini Shaikh Hussain.

Neither the transaction price nor the buyer was known at press time.

Meanwhile, HNG Capital Sdn Bhd disposed of 4.94 million shares, or a 1.55% stake, in Sarawak Cable Bhd on the open market on Dec 12.
