Kelington lands job in Singapore worth RM93m

SINGAPORE (Feb 11): Kelington Group Bhd has secured a turnkey construction and engineering services contract in Singapore worth SGD31 million (RM93 million). 

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia Securities today, Kelington said its unit Kelington Engineering (S) Pte Ltd (“KE Singapore”) had on 7 February 2019 received the contract.

It said KE Singapore will be involved in the design and construction of an Ultra High Purity (“UHP”) electronics special gases plant in Singapore. 

The work scope includes mechanical and electrical jobs, as well as the supply of the UHP process system for the plant.

The contract is expected to be completed by end of 2019. It is also expected to contribute positively to Kelington's earnings for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2019 (FY19).

Kelington shares opened RM1.19 today, with a market capitalisation of RM330.24 million as of 12:23pm.
