Quick take: Luxchem shares up despite lower Q4 net profit
KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Luxchem Corp Bhd 
edged up this morning, despite announcing a lower net profit for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2018.
The counter rose marginally by 0.5 sen, or 0.93% to 54.5 sen.
Luxchem’s net profit for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2018 (4QFY18) fell 8% to RM8.77mil from RM9.49mil in the previous year, on lower margins and higher expenses.
Its revenue for the period rose 5% in the quarter to RM206.25mil, compared to RM197.23mil a year ago.
