BCM Alliance FY18 earnings jump to RM8.34mil
KUALA LUMPUR: BCM Alliance Bhd registered an 86% net profit growth to RM8.34mil for the financial year ended December 31, 2018 (FY18), as compared to the previous financial year.
This was mainly due to higher revenue generated from commercial laundry equipment business segment, medical devices business segment and injection of new healthcare products business segment in FY18.
BCM’s revenue in FY18 grew 21.5% year-on-year to RM92.55mil, attributed to the increase in revenue contribution from the medical devices segment and commercial laundry equipment segment by RM9.63mil and RM90,000, respectively.
BCM, in a Bursa Malaysia filing, said the subscription of shares in Cypress Medic Sdn Bhd was also a factor for the higher revenue for the financial year.
