JV firm to build RM100mil high-tech facility
LANGKAWI: Sapura Aerospace Technologies, a joint venture between Sapura Industrial Bhd and two Japanese aerospace companies, will be investing RM100mil over the next five years to build a high-technology facility on a 2.02-hectare site in the Greater Klang Valley.
The two Japanese companies are Wada Aircraft Technology Co Ltd and Aero Inc.
Separately, Sapura Resources Bhd said it is entering a Memorandum of Understanding with MTU Asia Pte Ltd. The idea is to establish a joint venture for sales and service of original equipment packaging solutions.
This is for the marine (both naval and commercial), rail, construction & industrial, mining, agriculture, oil and gas, and power generation market sectors in Malaysia and which will primarily serve the Malaysian market. — Bernama
