Trading ideas: Pecca, Can-One, Spring Gallery, SCGM, Puncak
KUALA LUMPUR: JF Apex Research expects Pecca, Can-One, Spring Gallery, SCGM, Puncak Niaga and TRIplc to be among the stocks to watch on Tuesday.
Pecca will make it debut on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities with an offer price of RM1.42.
Can-One said it has not received any formal proposal or offer from any party expressing interest to acquire equity interest in its dairy manufacturing unit, F&B Nutrition Sdn Bhd unit. However, it confirmed that it has been approached by a number of parties including Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) (KWAP) expressing interest to acquire a stake.
Spring Gallery, the group has bagged a RM260mil construction job to undertake a mixed development project in Johor.
SCGM is acquiring three pieces of agricultural land in Kulai, Johor, for RM11.84mil for its expansion.
Puncak Niaga and TRIplc inked a heads of agreement (HoA) to start talks for the former to acquire the latter's businesses.
SKB Shutters bagged a US$10.8mil (RM42.5mil) contract from Asia Pangasius Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of Hund Vuong Corporation in Vietnam.
At Bursa Malaysia, the FBM KLCI fell 10.31 points to 1,717.68 but off the day’s low of 1,710.44.
US markets rose overnight after being led by healthcare and consumer stocks at oil prices pared losses. Similarly, European stocks gained slightly as oil prices regained some ground after oil producers failed to agree on a production freeze in a meeting in Doha.
“Following the positive performance in the US and Europe, the FBM KLCI is expected to rebound today with resistance at 1,728,” said the research house.
