ARB’s ED raises stake in company to 6.3%

KUALA LUMPUR (June 17): ARB Bhd’s executive director Au Yee Boon has increased his shareholdings in the company by acquiring another five million shares or a 3.93% stake.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, ARB disclosed that Au bought the shares on Friday (June 14), raising his stake in the group to 6.29% or eight million shares.

theedgemarkets.com reported on Friday that some five million shares or a 3.93% stake in ARB was traded off market at 31.5 sen per share.

The block of shares exchanged hands at a 13 sen or 29% discount over Friday’s closing of 44.5 sen.

ARB, formerly known as Aturmaju Resources Bhd, closed half sen or 1.12% lower at 44 sen in the open market today.

The company’s largest shareholder as at Feb 25 was managing director Datuk Yeo Wang Seng, who owns a 32.22% stake through his private vehicles Aspirasi Puspita Sdn Bhd and Affinity Gateway Sdn Bhd.
