KUALA LUMPUR (June 21): CB Industrial Product Holding Bhd’s (CBIPH) 49 percent-owned unit, VP Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd, will supply 17 airport fire vehicles to Malaysia Airports Sdn Bhd (MASB), inclusive of 17-year comprehensive maintenance, for RM76.24 million.

In a statement to Bursa Malaysia today, CBIPH said VP Engineering received a letter of award (LoA) from MASB yesterday to supply, deliver, testing and commissioning of the vehicles, as well as to provide maintenance for them up to March 2038.

The LoA is expected to contribute positively to CBIPH's earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2019, onwards until the completion of the works.

MASB, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd, manages airport-related services of designated airports in Malaysia other than the Kuala Lumpur International Airport and klia2.
