KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 2): Japanese-inspired food catered to Malaysian tastes ranging from sandwiches, onigiri, bento, fresh baked breads, hot and cold beverages, curry laksa, nasi lemak and others, will soon be available at myNEWS stores, Malaysia’s largest home-grown convenience chain.

This will be made possible with its newly-launched Japanese-inspired food production centre which will supply more than 300 myNEWS stores in the Klang Valley with a wide array of high quality ready-to-eat (RTE) foods.

In a statement, MyNEWS Holdings Berhad group chief executive officer Dang Tai Luk said myNEWS had taken the initiative to partner with renowned food industry players from Japan because it understands the increasing need for easy access to convenience stores that offer quality food for quick consumption.

“We want our customers to have a similar experience with that of convenience stores in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand, where customers can walk in, find and enjoy exactly what they want," he said.

At the same time, the myNEWS DASH online delivery service will also be provided for customers who wish to have their food and other daily needs delivered to their doorstep.
