Perdana Petroleum sees 2.56% of its shares traded off market .

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 18): Perdana Petroleum Bhd saw 2.56% of its shares traded off-market this afternoon.

According to Bloomberg, the 19.91 million shares were traded at 34 sen apiece, or a total of RM6.77 million, at 3:39 pm.

This represents a 5.5 sen or 13.92 sen discount to the group’s closing price of 39.5 sen.

The identities of those who had participated in the trade could not be ascertained at the time of writing.

In its annual report for the financial year ended Dec 31,2018 (FY18), Perdana Petroleum said that as of March 12, 2019, its largest shareholders were Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd (with a 60.48% stake) and Naim Holdings (8.31%)

The Edge Financial Daily reported today that Perdana Petroleum is confident of returning to the black in FY20, following the completion of its debt restructuring exercise, as well as better conditions for its offshore marine services segment.

Shares in Perdana Petroleum closed unchanged at 39.5 sen a share today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM307.5 million.  The counter saw 13.57 million shares traded.
