Too Much, Too Empty

The solo exhibition of Malaysian artist Zelin Seah called Too Much, Too Empty is inspired by personal emotions as well as observations of his everyday life and experience in the Chinese community. Using the medium of wood and etchings on copper, the artist’s semi-abstract works use space to express his journey, showing until Tuesday (closed on Sunday and Monday) from 10am to 7pm. Richard Koh Fine Art, 229, Jalan Maarof, Bukit Bandaraya, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. For more information visit rkfineart.com.

Axis by Praxis

The artists — Doctor Karayom (the Philippines), Edroger Rosili (Malaysia), Jarasporn Chumsri (Thailand), Khairudin Zainudin (Malaysia) and Maharani Mancanagara (Indonesia) — explore globalisation and how it has created discussions around cultural diversity, communication and the idea of a homogenous society. The exhibition uses art to attempt to further the discussion with the freeing medium of art. This exhibit is on until Jan 24, from 11am to 5pm (closed on Sundays and public holidays). G13 Gallery, GL13, Block B, Ground Floor, Kelana Square, Jalan SS7/26, Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya. For more information visit g13gallery.com.
