KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of MUDAJAYA GROUP BHD
rose in active trading on Wednesday, after the company announced that it has secured a contract to supply street lighting for Suke.
The group added 2.86%, or 1.5 sen to 54 sen with 5.14 million shares traded.
Mudajaya has secured a RM31.99mil contract to supply and maintain street lighting and traffic light system for the Sungai Besi–Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) project.
The contract — which entails the supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of street lighting, high mast and traffic light system — was awarded to its wholly-owned subsidiary Mudajaya Corp Bhd by Turnpike Synergy Sdn Bhd.
