PETALING JAYA: Telecommunication company Axiata Group Bhd
has named Datuk Mohd Izzaddin Idris(pic), the former boss at UEM Group Bhd, as its group chief executive officer (GCEO) designate.
Izzaddin, who is currently an independent and non-executive director of Axiata, will assume the role of deputy GCEO with immediate effect.
He would succeed Tan Sri Jamaludin Ibrahim as president and GCEO of Axiata by December, the company said in a statement.
