Bintai Kinden secures contract to install generators at Sandakan Airport

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 7): Bintai Kinden Corporation Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary Kejuruteraan Bintai Kindenko Sdn Bhd (KBK) has secured a contract worth RM920,000 from Malaysia Airports Sdn Bhd to install generators at Sandakan Airport, Sabah. 

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the company said it would carry out installation of two new 250kVA generator sets and associated works at Substation West and East of the airport.

The contract is non-renewable, while the project is scheduled to be completed by August 2020.

Bintai Kinden said the contract would contribute positively to its revenue and earnings for the financial year ending March 31, 2020 (FY20).
