THE top floor of Bursa Malaysia has been spruced up from how it was when Bursa Malaysia chairman Datuk Shireen Ann Zaharah Muhiudeen took office nearly a year ago.
She says the lighting was dim and the entire floor wasn’t reflective of what a stock exchange should be. Furniture and painting were pulled out of the store to smarten up the area.
It was apt that was done as the stock exchange is embarking on a revamp that will seek to inject more dynamism into Bursa Malaysia and also the stocks that are listed on the exchange.
