Bursa suspends PDT, IDSS for Westports, Mulpha, CMSB, Serba Dinamik, Frontken, Mi Technovation

KUALA LUMPUR (March 23): Bursa Malaysia has suspended short selling under proprietary day trading (PDT) and intraday short selling (IDSS) for Westports Holdings Bhd, Mulpha International Bhd, Cahya Mata Sarawak Bhd (CMSB), Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd, Frontken Corp Bhd and Mi Technovation Bhd, as the last done prices of the approved securities dropped more than 15% from their reference prices.

"The short selling under PDT and IDSS will only be activated the following trading day, Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at 08:30am,” Bursa said in a series of special announcements on its website today.

At 4.40pm, Westports’ share price fell 66 sen or 16.6% to RM3.27, Mulpha dropped 14 sen or 10.5% to RM1.19, while CMSB declined 24 sen or 21.4% to 88 sen.

Meanwhile, stocks that surged last Friday (March 20) had hit speed bumps and are retreating.

In particular, Serba Dinamik fell 18 sen or 13.8% to RM1.12, while Mi Technovation dropped 24 sen or 14.4% to RM1.43.

At the same time, shares in Frontken also declined 12 sen or 8.3% to RM1.32.
