Hartalega spends RM263mil on land purchase for factory expansion

KUALA LUMPUR: Hartalega Holdings Bhd is making room to expand its glove manufacturing facilities in Sepang, as the global pandemic boosted demand.

The company, in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, said it has agreed to purchase 38.49 hectares of land located near its complex in Sepang for RM263.1mil.

The acquisition, Hartalega said is in line with the medium and long term growth of the company to continue create greater value and earning potentials for the company.

"The existing expansion Next Generation Integrated Glove Manufacturing Complex Sepang is scheduled to be fully completed in year 2021," it said.
