KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia edged higher early Tuesday, underpinned by gains in Tenaga Nasional, Digi and Malaysia Airports while markets in Japan and South Korea traded higher.
At 9.06am, the FBM KLCI was up 4.69 points or 0.35% to 1,360.72. Turnover was 325.77 million shares valued at RM62.80mil. There were 220 gainers, 70 losers and 162 counters unchanged.
Global stocks traded mixed ahead of one of the most uncertain earnings seasons on record as the coronavirus pandemic rattles the world economy, Bloomberg reported.
