Lane closures at KM11 along Sungai Besi Expressway extended until June 13

KUALA LUMPUR (May 5): The intermittent lane closures by stages at KM11 along the Sungai Besi Expressway (Sungai Besi bound and Kuchai Lama bound) will be extended from today until June 13 from 10pm to 5am.

MMC-Gamuda in a statement said the closure is to make way for the construction of the Mass Rapid Transit Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya (SSP) line and upgrading works.

It said the move would affect six other routes in Bandar Sri Damansara, Damansara Damai and Puchong, beginning this Thursday (May 7) until July 29.

"For the first phase at Bandar Sri Damansara, the road upgrading works will see 24-hour closure at the exit and entry into Persiaran Margosa and opening of contra roads at Jalan Persiaran Perdana. However in the second and third phase the closure will be from 10pm t0 6am," the statement said.

In addition, lanes along Jalan Persiaran Industri (Kepong bound), Jalan PJU 10/9 and PJU 10 / 9A at Prima Damansara as well as the 100-metre stretch at Jalan PJU 10/1, Damansara Damai will be closed from 10pm to 6am during the period.

According to the statement the intermittent closure and activation of contra lanes along Persiaran Alpinia and Persiaran Sierra Utama, Bandar 16 Sierra in Puchong will begin this Thursday until June 2 from 10am to 7pm.
