KUALA LUMPUR: ACE-listed travel management company, PARLO BHD aims to expand in the overseas market through its online platform known as T-Broker Marketplace.
Its chief executive officer Dani Yap said its subsidiary, Parlo Tours Sdn Bhd is keen to bring in more travel suppliers via the platform through the appointment of distributors as a way to cushion the impact of COVID-19 on the tourism industry.
"Our proprietary technology platform will have all the right ingredients to be positioned as the centrepiece for Malaysia and ASEAN tourism ecosystem modernisation where buyers, sellers and agents can benefit and emerge stronger after the dust had settled. "Hence, we will be conducting a webinar sometimes in August with prospective agents in various countries starting with ASEAN and Asian Pacific countries to position ourselves to become a regional set up by early next year,” he told Bernama.
T-Broker Marketplace was launched in September 2019 and is a business-to-business (B2B) platform.
