KKB eyes more contracts

Group executive director Kho Pok Tong (pic) told StarBiz that with the additional funding for the statewide water supply grid programme, KKB would continue to bid for both the construction job and supply of steel water pipes.

KUCHING: KKB Engineering Bhd is eyeing more water-related contracts as the Sarawak government has raised the allocation for the state water supply grid programme by RM1.2bil to RM4bil from RM2.8bil.

Group executive director Kho Pok Tong (pic) said with the additional funding for the statewide water supply grid programme, KKB would continue to bid for both the construction job and supply of steel water pipes.

“We will target a success rate of (securing) up to 10% of the additional RM1.2bil allocation, depending on the readiness and roll-out of the planned projects post-2020, ” he told StarBiz.
