KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 20): Malaysia reported 52 new Covid-19 cases as of noon today, comprising 40 domestic transmissions and 12 imported cases.

Of the 52 cases, 36 were from Sabah including 27 from the Lahad Datu cluster, according to the Ministry of Health.

A new cluster in Penang, named as the Ara cluster, has also been found.

No new deaths were reported.
