Lagenda, Majuperak to collaborate in Perak project

The companies said in separate filings with Bursa Malaysia that the land will be developed into an affordable housing mixed-use development project comprising 1,374 single-storey terrace houses, 264 double-storey shop houses, a petrol station, a hypermarket and offices for government agencies.

PETALING JAYA: A sub-subsidiary of Majuperak Holdings Bhd has entered into an agreement with a unit of Lagenda Properties Bhd to jointly develop four parcels of land measuring 229.73 acres in Mukim Batang Padang in Perak.

The companies said in separate filings with Bursa Malaysia that the land will be developed into an affordable housing mixed-use development project comprising 1,374 single-storey terrace houses, 264 double-storey shop houses, a petrol station, a hypermarket and offices for government agencies.

However, it is still too early to estimate the gross development value and development costs of the project as the development planning is still subject to the approval of relevant authorities.
