PETALING JAYA: Marine & General Bhd
(M&G) recorded a loss before taxation of RM19.2mil in its first quarter ended July 31,2020, an increase over the RM12.9 mil pre-tax loss recorded in the previous year’s corresponding period.
The company, however, reported a 3% improvement in revenue of RM55.3mil over the previous corresponding quarter in line with the deployment of two additional tankers by the downstream division during the period.
The upstream division remained the main revenue contributor to the group, generating 70% of total revenue, while the downstream division generated the balance 30%.
