Ecobuilt secures RM72m construction contract in Sabah

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 5): Ecobuilt Holdings Bhd has secured a RM72.32 million contract to undertake the construction of a retail and commercial suites project in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

The group's wholly owned subsidiary E&J Builders Sdn Bhd has been appointed the main contractor for the project by VTS Property Builders Sdn Bhd, Ecobuilt said in a filing today.

The development includes three blocks of commercial suites and a podium car park plus retail and office space along Lorong Ikan Juara 3, Sadong Jaya.

The project is expected to be completed by April 26, 2023.

Ecobuilt said the development is expected to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets for the financial year ending May 31, 2021.

Ecobuilt's share price was unchanged at 22 sen today, valuing the company at RM75.88 million.
