FGV provides Covid-19 tests for migrant workers

KUALA LUMPUR: FGV Holdings Bhd is providing Covid-19 tests for 7,001 of its migrant workers at its plantations in Negeri Sembilan and Sabah to support the government’s efforts to curb the pandemic.

In a statement issued on Thursday, FGV said 740 migrant workers at the Jempol and Gemas plantations in Negeri Sembilan, were screened with the RTK Antigen kit on Jan 12 and 13.

Of the total, 165 workers are from Indonesia, India (289) and Bangladesh (286).
