PETALING JAYA: Aeon Co (M) Bhd’s long-term prospects are intact due to its transformation strategies amid the new movement control order (MCO).
TA Research, in its report said the MCO 2.0’s impact on the retailing segment would likely be less economically damaging compared with the first MCO that was implemented from March 2020 to May 2020.
“Based on latest guidelines of MCO 2.0, all Aeon’s stores, except for the apparel section of Aeon’s general merchandise stores, in MCO-designated states are allowed to operate, ” it said.
