KUALA LUMPUR: Bioalpha Holdings Bhd's sudidiary has entered a memorandum of understanding with Zuellig Pharma Sdn Bhd for the import and distribution of the Covid-19 vaccine in Malaysia.

It said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that the contract shall be effective from Jan 22, 2021 and is subject to approval from the relevant authorities for the distirubtion and sale of the vaccine.

"The MOU enables the Company to expand its business into distribution of vaccines, such as Covid-19 vaccine, which has favourable prospects following the recent pandemic," said Bioalpha.
