PETALING JAYA: Hygiene care products manufacturer RGT Bhd
posted record results for its second quarter ended Dec 31,2020 (2QFY21) due to a surge in overseas demand for its products such as sanitiser and soap dispensers, as a result of a Covid-19 pandemic.
For 2QFY21, net profit jumped 304% year-on-year (y-o-y) to RM4.1mil while revenue was 165% higher to RM45.4mil.
The bulk of the revenue jump was contributed by sales to the United States, followed by Europe.
