KLUANG (March 8): PAS wishes to continue its political cooperation with Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) and UMNO until after the 15th General Election (GE15) for the sake of the country’s future.

PAS deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man advised leaders from all the parties to continue supporting the current Perikatan Nasional (PN) government, led by Bersatu, and minimise internal politics, so that more focus can be given to solve issues plaguing the people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“And I am confident that this political cooperation is not only for the parties but for the future of the whole country. Any political decision involves the future of the country, so for PAS, we feel that all three parties need to continue with the cooperation not only until the General Election (GE15) but until after GE15,” he told reporters after officiating the lot drawing ceremony for works under the Ministry of Energy and Water (KASA) here today.

He said disputes should be resolved through negotiations.

Tuan Ibrahim said this when commenting on Annuar Musa's statement which described UMNO, PAS and Bersatu as not enemies but rivals, and confusions existed when certain quarters tried to hide their intention of working with the real enemy.
