KUALA LUMPUR: Businessman Datuk Ong Choo Meng, who recently emerged with a 29.18% stake in Complete Logistic Services Bhd
, has leveraged on the latter to take up nearly 15% of Classic Scenic Bhd.
A filing with Bursa Malaysia on Wednesday showed he was deemed interest in the acquisition of 18 million shares or 14.9% of Classic Scenic via Complete Logistic Services.
The shares of the wooden picture frame maker were acquired on Tuesday.
In a recent filing, Ong had acquired 37.44 million shares or 29.18% of integrated logistics company Complete Logistic Services on March 5 from Dolphin Assets Sdn Bhd.
